VENTIS desktop CO₂ blaster venting a burst of vapor beside a MacBook
CO₂ Cannon · Hardware Edition

Tap to fire.
It actually fires.

VENTIS is the physical twin of the CO₂ Cannon app. A palm-sized desk blaster that vents a real burst of CO₂ on command, driven straight from your Mac.

The blast used to live on screen. Now it leaves a cold cloud of vapor drifting across your desk, every time you pull the trigger.

Tap

CANNON

A single, sharp burst. One clean puff that punches out and hangs in the air. The classic desk-clearing statement.

Hold

HISS

Keep it down and it keeps going. A sustained jet of vapor with the unmistakable hiss of escaping gas. For dramatic effect.

A toy that behaves like a product.

Driven by your Mac

Plugs in over USB-C and answers to the app, or to a physical tap on the unit. Fire it from a keyboard shortcut, a menu bar click, or the button itself.

A real, visible burst

Not a sound effect. Not an animation. An actual cloud of chilled CO₂ vapor that you can see, hear, and feel leave the nozzle.

Desk-sized, desk-safe

Palm-sized and completely harmless. It puffs out a small cloud of cold vapor that hangs for a second, then vanishes. Nothing to load, nothing to aim, nothing to clean up.

Where it stands

Designed,
not yet built.

Right now VENTIS is a finished design, not a finished device. The gas path, the gimballed nozzle, and the USB link to the Mac are all worked out. Everything you see here is a render. The next step is ordering the parts and building the first unit on the bench.

The studio

Built by FocusApps.

A one-person studio making small, sharp, slightly unreasonable things for the Mac. VENTIS is the first one designed to leave the screen.
